Submission Guidelines
Instructions for Authors
a. Submission Guidelines:
- Manuscripts and all editorial correspondence should be submitted to the Editor.
- Authors must submit manuscripts through the online submission system https://journals.riphah.edu.pk/index.php/jitc/about/submissions
- The paper must adhere to research principles and cover a new topic.
- Articles should be properly referenced, and correct writing and spelling standards should be followed.
- Manuscripts must be original and unpublished.
- Only those with a significant contribution to the research should be listed as authors.
- The primary author is responsible to ensure that all co-authors have approve the final draft.
b. Publication Timeline and Withdrawal Policy:
The publication process for your paper will take approximately 3 months. This timeframe includes several stages: initial review, double-blind peer review, revisions (if required based on the reviewers' feedback), and copy editing.
Once your paper has passed the initial review stage, it cannot be withdrawn. This ensures that the paper undergoes a thorough evaluation and meets the journal's standards for publication.
b. Paper Formatting:
- Length: 4000 to 8000 words
- File Format: Ms-Word (A4 size)
- Font Size:
- Title: 16 (Urdu/Arabic), 14 (English)
- Headings: 14 Bold (Urdu/Arabic), 13 Bold (English)
- Font: Jameel Noori Nastaleeq (Urdu), Traditional Arabic (Arabic), Times New Roman (English)
- Text Size: 14 (Urdu/Arabic), 12 (English)
- Footnotes: 10 (Urdu/Arabic), 10 (English)
- Spacing: Single line spacing throughout.
- Paragraph Indentation: 0.5 inches for the first line of each paragraph.
c. Document Structure
I. Research Framework:
Each paper should include a conceptual framework, literature review, data collection and analysis, suggestions for future research, and a conclusion.
II. Author Information:
- Author names should appear under the main title.
- No changes to the author list will be allowed after submission.
- Contact information (name, email, institute, postal address, and phone numbers) should be provided in the footnote.
III. Title:
- Title: Should be clear, concise, and reflective of the article's content.
IV. Abstract, and Keywords:
- Abstract: 200 to 250 words (must include introduction, objectives, methodology, and key findings).
- Keywords: 4-6 keywords relevant to the article.
V. Content Structure:
Introduction: include objectives, methodology, distinctive characteristics, and a brief overview of the research.
Discussion: Present a detailed analysis of the research findings.
Conclusion/Findings/Recommendations: Conclude logically, detailing the research findings and corresponding recommendations.
VI. References and Bibliography:
- Cite books, articles, Quranic verses, and Ahadith with full details (e.g., author, title, publisher, year, page number).
- Use endnotes for citations following the Chicago Manual of Style (17th edition).
VII. Transliteration
- Transliteration of Urdu and Arabic terms in English manuscripts is required.
- Transliteration of Urdu and Arabic sources should be included in the endnotes.
d. Ethics and Publishing Standards:
- Simultaneous Submission: Authors must not submit the same article to multiple journals.
- Multiple Publications: Authors should avoid publishing the same research multiple times. References from earlier publications must be cited correctly in later works.
- Post-Submission Errors: Authors must notify the editor immediately if any errors are discovered after submission. Corrections should be made promptly.
