About the Journal

RIPHAH JOURNAL OF PSYCHOLOGICAL AND LIFE SCIENCES (RJPLS) is an official journal of the Riphah Institute of Clinical and Professional Psychology (RICPP), introduced in 2023. The aim of this journal is to publish original empirical and quality research papers that broadly emphasize the significance of how cultural and psychological processes are constructed together and make it easier to comprehend psychology and life sciences from a variety of theoretical underpinnings. This journal is a venue for the publication of theoretical studies, reviews, methodological, applied, and policy-related articles, as well as empirical investigations.

This journal publishes quarterly focuses on accepting original research papers of both quantitative and qualitative research types, descriptive research, meta-analysis, systematic reviews, clinical case studies, exploratory research, and applied & pure research. We provide double-blind reviews of the paper from both national and international reviewers. The mode of publication of the journal is both online and in hard form.

The journal publishes wide and diverse areas of research papers that fall within the psychological and life sciences domain which broadly includes psychopathology and psychotherapy, mental illness and well-being, clinical research and case studies, counseling and adjustment to life concerns, school and education setting-related issues, developmental and life span concerns, organizational & industrial psychology, forensic psychology, health psychology, marital & familial relationship, positive psychology, social psychology, Islamic psychology, and psychotherapy, media psychology and literacy studies and life sciences.

By submitting a manuscript in RJPLS, the author (or principal author if a multi-authored paper) confirms the following:

  • The work is original and free of plagiarism, including self-plagiarism.
  • Any material taken from other authors’ work has been properly referenced (secondary source citation).
  • For tables or figures taken from any website or other research papers or books, written consent of the publisher or author is required and will be provided to the editorial office of the journal upon request.
  • Any work content, partially or fully, has not been published before (except in an informal publication such as a thesis or dissertation).
  • The manuscript, or a modified version of the same, is not submitted to any other journal and is simultaneously under consideration by any other journal.
  • The work does not violate intellectual property rights.
  • The manuscript contains no subject matter that contravenes laws (including defamatory, misleading, and deceptive material).
  • The work meets ethical standards applicable to the research discipline.
  • All authors agree with the preparation and submission of the submitted manuscript
  • All investigators who made substantial contributions consented to be included as authors, whereas those who did not meet the authorship criteria will be acknowledged.

All submissions, including participants’ information, are believed to have been obtained as per the criteria described in the Instructions to Authors, and if required, the author(s) are liable to submit written consent to the editorial office.

 

Sponsorship Disclosure

All sources of grants received and its spending should be disclosed. Such statements should be declared on the submission statement form and at the end of the manuscript before the references. If there are no funding sources, the authors should state “none to declare”.

Author's personal information:

Leasing of information: Individuals may provide us with information when they make contact, either via e-mail, telephone, or postal communication. Such a contact may be in connection with a manuscript submission, an inquiry about publications, participation in a discussion, or buying and providing any services such as language editing and formatting. The information given to us may include name, email address, mailing address, telephone number, financial or credit card details, academic institution, affiliation, job title, subject specialization, and technical expertise. Sometimes individuals’ information may be shared with us by a third-party organizing event that utilizes the RJPLS platform for conferences, workshops, or the publication of special supplements.

How long we retain your information: All personal information that reaches RJPLS is only used for the purpose it is meant for and retained in safe custody of the office record for a period of five years.

Protection of personal information: Personal information is kept in an electronic record encrypted with a password. In some cases, paper formats may be kept under strict lock and key.

Sharing your e-mail information: RJPLS may share the author’s e-mail with our business partner or those providing services and support to us, such as our publisher and patron (PPA) Other than this, any sharing will require the prior permission of the data owner.

Changes to privacy policy: Any change in the privacy policy will require approval from the editorial board and PMA, the owners of RJPLS.
